Dear Club Members,
I hope all our junior club members enjoyed our presentations this weekend. Many thanks to all the committee members and parents that gave up their time to help out with set up / pack up and BBQ duty. Without our volunteers we don’t have a club.
If you would like to participate more in the club and give us a hand, please let me know as we will be holding our Annual General Meeting in November and will be looking for new committee members. Remember, many hands make light work !
Our annual report is now available on our website and I have attached a link below. Please take a few minutes to have a look and read all the great reports from our coaches and managers.
One final reminder that our Senior Presentation will be held at Caringbah Pub on 14th October from 5.30pm.
All parents of junior club members are welcome to attend also. More details will follow on Facebook and our website closer to the date.
In the State budget that was handed down in June of this year, the NSW Government announced that from 1 January 2018, parents will be able to claim up to $100 per school child, per calendar year, to reduce the cost of sport registration or membership fees.
Sutherland Sharks football club will be conducting coaching clinic during September school holidays.
A great chance for your kids to learn the game and be coached by Rep Coaches and Sharks’ Players on the main Stadium.
Sutherland Shire Council is running a Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) course soon and has extended an invitation to Sutherland Shire Football Association. The aim of the course is to train those people who are often the first point of contact with young people. We are offering the course free of charge, the approximate rate for regular attendance would be $350.
